The organizer of this event, MVCA chairman Zsolt Lavotha is satisfied with the outcome of this day of meetings, "Given the high income of many of its residents, and its concentration of entrepreneurs and business segments, Monaco has much to offer young entrepreneurs. The Edge proved to be an excellent forum for bringing together regional and worldwide delegates." Marika Taischoff, co-organizer and MBA course director at the International University of Monaco confirmed, "This event focused on presenting promising young entrepreneurs who came from all five continents. It provided excellent insight into the need to apply novel and socially responsible economic models." The forum also allowed several project initiators to present their business plans. An award was bestowed on Karibu Solar Energy, a recently established Tanzanian company with the goal of bringing lower cost lighting to villages and families without electricity. Alongside the Monaco government, several sponsors chose to get involved with the event: Monaco Asset Management, Envestors and Triago.
