On June 13 and 14, a Monegasque delegation comprising the Monaco Government's Attractiveness Unit, Monaco Private Label, the Monaco Economic Board, Groupe Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer and the Association Monégasque des Activités Financières travelled to Brussels, Belgium, as part of a joint mission to promote the Principality of Monaco abroad.
Led by Frédéric Genta, Délégué Interministériel à l'Attractivité et à la Transition Numérique (Interministerial Delegate for Attractiveness and Digital Transition), this trip was part of the strategic plan for Attractiveness, one of whose priorities is to coordinate, in partnership with public and private players, all actions designed to amplify and extend the Principality's ability to attract international business.
Over the two days, the delegation met with the Diplomatic and Consular Corps, as well as a network of influential Belgian personalities. The trip also provided an opportunity to develop ties with local professionals on development issues for both countries.
H.E. Frédéric Labarrère, Ambassador of the Principality of Monaco to Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, and Frédéric Genta commented: "For this first international mission, we are delighted that all the key players dedicated to the Principality's attractiveness and influence worked closely together to bring these high-level meetings to a successful conclusion".
