The Department of Finance and Economy and the Public Investment Bank of France (BPI), organized a conference on September 19th in Monaco on the theme of the possible interactions between finance and sustainable development.
After an introduction by Mr. Jean Castellini, Government Minister, and Mrs. Anne-Sophie Marin (Head of ESG BPI France), various financial asset managers presented innovative and concrete solutions that are now being implemented. These initiatives in the field of private equity concern, for example, the indexation of performance and income to environmental issues (TILT Capital, KARTESIA and CANDRIAM). They also concern the selection and promotion of cutting-edge technologies, to find concrete solutions to the energy transition and the fight against global warming (companies "JOLT Capital" and "CAPRICORN"). The financial institutions and the local investors, present in the room were very sensitive to the various presentations of the participants. On this occasion, the strong contribution and commitment of the financial sector in terms of responsible investment was demonstrated, as well as the particular interest in this subject in the Principality.
