As part of the 3rd Forum on Sandwich Courses and the 8th Careers in Banking and Finance Meeting, the Employment Office is launching the Apprenticeship Trophies.
This award, presented by the Minister of Health and Social Affairs, is to reward and recognise two young apprentices who have obtained their diploma and entered the world of work, having demonstrated an exceptionally high standard both in their professional life and their studies. It is part of the ongoing actions supported by the Prince’s Government to promote access to work for young people.
However, apprenticeships could not exist without the participation and involvement of the business world. These Trophies are therefore also awarded to the professionals, who in 2013, trained and guided these apprentices in their establishment, enabling them to successfully embark on a career. These professionals are key players in this scheme, as they were responsible for supervising the apprentice-student, passing on their know-how and skills and more generally ensuring that their training was successful.
The Apprenticeship Trophies will be awarded to the Best Apprentice of the Year and his or her business. A special Jury's prize will also be awarded.
