ACI Monaco's "Training" breakfast took place on September 15 in the presence of The event was attended by Mr. Jean CASTELLINI, Minister Counsellor of the Department of Finance and Economy, Mrs. Isabelle BONNAL, General Commissioner in charge of the National Education, Youth and Sports Department, and Mr. Etienne FRANZI, President of the Monaco Association of Financial Activitie.
The development of market activities and the dissemination of financial information have been at the heart of the missions of the umbrella association, ACI International, (The Financial Market Association) since its creation in 1955.
For 30 years, ACI Monaco has been offering training courses run by market professionals to the general public. "Today, we offer around 20 training courses and 600 participants per year. Above all, they convey a testimony and a practical vision; a very human approach, which was undermined during the COVID pandemic. We have been able to be flexible and refocus on key themes: treasury, interest rate markets, structured products, risks, etc. The courses have been delivered remotely with more than 170 participants", explains Sophie GEST, President of ACI Monaco.
Philippe GIORDAN, ACI Training Manager, presented the 2022/23 schedule, where e-learning is confirmed, combined with face-to-face courses at the Lycée Technique de Monaco... In terms of content, all the fundamental themes concerning all the asset classes will be covered, as well as cross-cutting themes of portfolio management and ESG. The training courses will be given by the core group of ACI Monaco trainers, as well as by new professional speakers, in particular thanks to video-conferencing tools.
