The IMpower FundForum, the leading event for global wealth and asset management professionals, was held from 24 to 26 June at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo. Organised by Informa Connect, this prestigious event attracted more than 1,400 decision-makers, including 500 fund and wealth managers and 400 fund buyers and asset owners from over 50 countries.
Participants had the opportunity to attend high-level panels addressing current market trends, industry challenges and innovations in asset management. The event was structured around several thematic stages, such as distribution, investment, private markets, as well as sustainability and impact, offering rich and relevant content for each participant.
The AMAF was represented by a panel comprising Ms Serene EL MASRI, CEO of UBP Monaco, and Mr Nicolas FEIT, Managing Director of Société Générale Private Banking Monaco. They discussed innovation in Monaco's private banks, highlighting the exceptional proximity that these banks maintain with their clients, an asset that is particularly valued in Monaco. They also highlighted the crucial importance of technology in attracting new generations of investors. Finally, they emphasised the extent to which Monaco's distinctive characteristics, such as political and economic stability, proximity to government and institutions, are essential pillars of its attractiveness.
The choice of Monaco by the organisers of this exceptional event underlines just how attractive the Principality remains for the finance sector.
