Following the example of the Financial Director of the year Trophy award attributed by the DFCG at the national level for 14 years, and as in 10 other regions the Association des Directeurs Financiers et de Contrôle de Gestion de la Côte d’Azur (DFCG - Association of Financial and Management Control Directors of the Côte d’Azur) is organizing the 4th edition of its Financial Management Trophy.
This Trophy is awarded to a Financial or Management Control director of a company in the Côte d’Azur region, for the relevance of the director’s administration methods, innovative initiatives and the performance achieved through his or her actions.
The competition is open to Finance Directors and/or Management Accountants with over 3 years’ professional experience in the profession with their company.
The company or establishment must have a staff of at least 20 people or generate a minimum turnover of 5 million euro, and have its headquarters in the Côte d’Azur region.
Candidates will be evaluated on actions performed in the January 2011 to December 2013 period.
Each candidate will be required to present their project at an interview.
The closing date for the submission of applications to the Jury is 15 APRIL 2014.
The Jury comprises DFCG Côte d‘Azur board members, as well as some honoured partners of the event selected from actors in the region’s financial and economic life. It will meet to examine the applications and will name three nominees.
Each nominated candidate will be required to present their project to the Jury on 13 May from 10 a.m. onwards at the Monte Carlo Bay in Monaco. They will be assisted by their coach.
The award ceremony will take place on TUESDAY 13 MAY at 7 p.m in the Monte Carlo Bay in Monaco at the annual convention of Côte d’Azur Finance Directors, with the President of the Jury and the President of DFCG Côte d'Azur Xavier Duchaine.
