Following the recommendations of the Strategic Council for Attractiveness of the Principality, the Princess Grace Hospital - CHPG - has adopted a Check-Up Unit consisting of three suites of 70 m², in new premises.
The Head of Department is Dr. Gilles CHIRONI (Cardiologist, Universities Lecturer).
A presentation of all offers of check-ups, as well as the scope and organization of this unit is available in French and English on the website www.checkupunit.chpg.mc.
Russian, Italian, Chinese, Spanish and Arabic versions will also be activated soon.
The Princess Grace Hospital also has aleaflet, which can be sent to you upon request, specifying the desired language.

The Monegasque Association of Compliance Officers- AMCO - elected its new President, Mr Jean-Philippe ORY - Barclays Bank - at the meeting of the Board of Directors on February 29th, 2016, thus taking over from Marc CASANOVA who has worked in this function with efficiency and diplomacy for two years. We thank him for this.

The European Union and the Principality of Monaco signed on Monday February 22nd, 2016 an agreement allowing the automatic exchange of information on bank accounts for their respective residents from 2018, in order to fight against tax evasion in Europe.
The European Union has recently signed similar agreements with Switzerland, Liechtenstein, St Martin and Andorra.

Given its growing success, the 2016 edition whose theme is entitled "The Future smiles at you" will be held in Monaco on February 24, from 10 am to 5 pm at the "Auditorium Rainier III" Congress Centre.
The regional specialists of alternating training and companies of the Principality interested in this system will make themselves available to accommodate large numbers of young people.
An attractive training specifically dedicated to Monaco's banking market - Bac +3 level - is proposed for the next school year; it was established by the Employment Service, in cooperation with the Monegasque Association of Financial Activities (AMAF) and local bank partners. Interested students can submit their application on site.

On the theme "Country Risk: Analysis and opportunities for businesses in 2016."
At this traditional rendezvous of COFACE in the Principality, dealing with "country risks", the economist Julien Marcilly will discuss the content of the new edition of the guide "Country risks" of Coface, published on the occasion of the 20th annual conference which was held recently in Paris before a large audience of economists, entrepreneurs, bankers and postgraduate students.
On this occasion, many business leaders invited by the President of the Monaco Economic Board, the Director of the Monaco branch of Banque Populaire Côte d'Azur and the Commercial Director of Gramaglia Insurance, are expected.

On the occasion of its fortieth anniversary, the Compagnie Monegasque de Banque launches the « Women and Finance Academy ». This training aims to allow its female customers to improve their financial knowledge. When formed to finance, women are excellent decision makers as the Compagnie Monegasque de Banque has understood.
A first series of lectures will be held at the Hotel Meridien Beach Plaza in Monaco on a monthly basis from April 2016 to March, 2017. This initiative has been a success, with an enrollment exceeding the planned objectives.

Alain Ucari - Director of Bank Julius Baer (Monaco) SAM - Board Member of the Monegasque Association of Financial Activities for over ten years, has succeeded Mr Anthony STENT TORRIANI to the presidency of the Commission for professional certification since January 2016.
2015 Session B registered a success rate in the exam of 82%, and 47 students are enrolled in the 2016 Session A in progress.
So we can only welcome the success of this system set up at the initiative of AMAF.

As the Trophy of the Financial Director of the Year awarded by the DFCG nationally for 16 years, and as in 10 other regions, the Association of Financial and Management Control Directors (DFCG ) of the French Riviera organizes the 6th edition of its Finance and Management Trophy. The awards ceremony will take place this year at the Yacht Club of Monaco, on June 2, 2016.
