The European Union and the Principality of Monaco signed on Monday February 22nd, 2016 an agreement allowing the automatic exchange of information on bank accounts for their respective residents from 2018, in order to fight against tax evasion in Europe.
The European Union has recently signed similar agreements with Switzerland, Liechtenstein, St Martin and Andorra.
