Last Thursday, June 23, the AMAF Board, chaired by Mr. Etienne FRANZI, received Mr. Frédéric FAUTRIER, Director of the AMSN. This agency, created in 2015, is the national authority in charge of information systems security. It is a center of expertise, answer and treatment in terms of security and digital attacks for the State and public or private operators.
Mr. FAUTRIER presented qualitative results for the banking sector, i.e. 14 banks under Monegasque law and 11 offices or branches of foreign banks. Globally, he expressed his satisfaction on the level of maturity of the banking industry in the Principality, mainly concerning the observation of the 165 security rules in place, documented and controlled. He underlined the significant progress made by all operators. "The banking sector has a very good level of maturity. Almost all the measures have been applied; I congratulate all the banks for the work they have accomplished in a particularly difficult geopolitical and pandemic context" concluded Mr. FAUTRIER.
Mr. FRANZI praised the action of the AMSN. It is indeed essential for the reputation and attractiveness of the Paris financial center that all of our companies have a high level of security for their information systems.
