Convinced that the Monegasque cyberspace, a vector of growth, must be a safe, lasting and reliable space, the Government of Monaco, via the Department of the Interior and the Monegasque Digital Security Agency (AMSN), has organized an information meeting for the Operators of Major Importance (OIV) of the Principality on the cyber risks and the legislative measures envisaged.
In the presence of Serge Telle, Minister of State, and Patrice Cellario, Minister of the Interior, this meeting, led by Admiral Dominique Riban, Director of AMSN, introduced the new legislation aiming at identifying, analyzing, approving and protecting Vital Information Systems (VSIS) for Operators of Major Importance (OIV).
Messrs. Philippe Trouchaud (Pwc) and Jean-Christophe Mathieu (Siemens) then presented to the participants, through numerous examples, particularly in the industrial field, the danger of cyber attacks to which unprotected systems are exposed.
In conclusion, Patrice Cellario said: "The Government has launched an ambitious and long-term process to enhance the level of digital security in the Principality."
