On Thursday, the Minister of State, Serge Telle, received, in the presence of the authorities, the employees who obtained the Monegasque Professional Certification set up by the Princely Government, on the initiative of the Association Monegasque of Financial Activities (AMAF).
This mandatory certification system which came into force on May 2nd, 2014 aims at increasing the level of competence of the employees in Monegasque banks and asset management companies as well as the reputation of excellence of the place. This professional certification is intended for all employees of the Front Office, that is to say who are in contact with customers or markets as well as their direct managers. Since its creation, 225 professionals have been certified.
In his speech, Serge Telle stressed that " the excellence of the Monaco financial center is a priority. This excellence goes through three areas, on which AMAF directly intervenes: on one hand, the supervision, regulation and organization of the financial professions, guaranteeing know-how and legitimacy. On the other hand, a regular and targeted promotion of the Monaco place, in particular at the international level. Finally, and this is whatbrings us together today, competent professionals, who for many interlocutors are the real face of our financial center - and even of our Principality."
