CIFA (Convention of Independent Financial Advisors) is holding its 12th International Forum at the Hermitage Hotel. The themes broached by thirty speakers who are all experts in financial professions will cover different aspects of the subject: New Standards for Wealth Managers.
According to Jean-Pierre Diserens, CIFA’s Secretary General, the founding principles of this non-profit association are based on ethics and reform of the world financial system. CIFA wants to put finance back at the service of investors and protect the fundamental rights of citizens in financial markets. CIFA is made up of professional associations which represent 750,000 asset managers (individuals and institutions) around the world.
In 2007, the association made an important strategic alliance in obtaining United Nations “special consultative status” at ECOSOC (the Economic and Social Council) and actively participates in the work of these global organizations.
