The Chamber of Economic Development (CDE) welcomed Lionel Galfré, Director of IMSEE (Monegasque Institute of Statistics and Studies) for the presentation of the new edition of ‘Monaco in Figures’. Before an audience of company managers, Mr. Galfré showed how much statistics have been at the service of the Monegasque society, as well as the country. In this way, Monaco can in fact be ranked according to the international standards in force. New demographic figures are published every year, along with figures on the following markets: automotive, employment, wholesale trade, industry. Preparation of an economic survey on retail trade is also underway.
